Geez...

I'm sooo off. Truly. I wake up, get ready for "the day". Go to work, do that. Come home, go directly into jammies. Do supper, clean up. Veg-out in front of the TV. Get ready for bed, which basically is just turn off the TV. Let the dog out, let him back in, lock the door, turn off the lights, grab my iPod and go to bed... (That last one sounds kinda wierd but its true.)

(This is the very pretty cloth Dorothy sent me for our Valentine's exchange... I am so not worthy.)

Lifes funny sometimes. You just don't wanna do "it", you go through the motions but it loses its panache. Then something fun happens and you feel excited again! My friend got married! That was a blast... The wedding was a hoot! I'd show you pictures but she hasn't even seen them yet, still on the honeymoon...

Aww. The boy's first Piano Recital is coming up this weekend. I'm more nervous for him than he is. He's doing Flute Song and Yankee Doodle. I think he'd rather do Smoke on the Water and Iron Man... He does those all the time. Funny what you teach yourself when you're first learning.

Plus, this week... Dave did a new Chub Creek Podcast! Woo Hoo! It was super... Listened to it three times today. Dang two months holiday hey.... Good for you, but man, did I go through some serious withdrawls! I tried to listen to every episode since day one, some I did, even twice, but a couple I had to stream online as iTunes wouldn't download them.... Anyway, i'm just glad to hear your back, Dave. Missed you, big time.

And Gary... My other "new" buddy. You, my friend, are a breathe of fresh air (and you curse like I do too just don't tell my folks that). Somehow I pictured you totally different, though. Wierd how you hear someone's voice and you get an image of them. Then, when you actually "see" what they look like, it doesn't match at all.... I could have sworn you had glasses... On his blog he's got that he's reading Sam and the Flirefly. What a great book that is! Sam's awesome, fireflys are cool... Oh Gus. He had no idea what he was getting into. My brother has this book memorized... Seriously... We had it as kids growing up but my Mom spring cleaned it out of the house at some point. I thought it'd make a great gift for him so I went out and bought it for him for Christmas a few years ago.

"Now is the time for fun", he said.
"Who" said Sam, "Who"
"Who wants to play?"

But no one said a thing.

I've been knitting dishcloths like there's no tomorrow. Seriously, it felt like an obsession.

I did three 4 corner's cloths for Abigail's blog that I still haven't submitted to her like I said I would...

My sunshiney one...

My pretty in pink one....

and My Blue Period...

This was actually the first one I did. Note the "seaming". Yew. Nevermind, don't look at it.... LOL
Everyone has a blue period, don't they?!

Then, I needed to do some "Scrappies". Their ballband cloths made from leftovers. Poor leftovers. But they turned out so very beautiful. Ducklings in to swans, really.

Hardly leftovers, at all! I actually don't wanna use them. Its amazing what colours can do when you let them mingle...

What else....

Hey, I'm hungry... Besides, who doesn't love homemade fries.....mmm pass the vinegar and sea salt. It was a Saturday morning craving, no I'm not pregnant... Shut up arteries!

Finally, its pointy...

My diagonal cloth for my dkal I did in three or maybe 4 colours. I need to look at the photo again. Its my easter cloth. Which brings me around to, I've been really friggin lazy. Easter! Cripes... That was 2-3 months ago.

Here's to Spring, wherever it went...
